Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached resolution to cancel the regularly scheduled City Council meeting of December 24, 2019.
BACKGROUND
It has been the City Council's past practice to cancel the second regularly scheduled Council meeting in December. Additionally, the meeting of December 24, 2019 falls on a City-observed holiday.
STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT
There is no alignment with the Strategic Plan
DISCUSSION
Staff has prepared the attached resolution in order to give the public and employees proper notice of the cancellation.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact to the General Fund.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached resolution and cancel the regularly scheduled City Council meeting of December 24, 2019.
